So for my anatomy scan back in December, I was sent to the hospital instead of my women's health center, where I normally go, and I was kind of disappointed because the UT didn't really discuss anything with me, like how big I was measuring, how everything looked, is my placenta was low lying..etc. She didn't even tell me the gender so when I asked she told me my baby was very active so it was hard to tell but it looked like a girl. She didn't sound very confident so I was buying neutral stuff, and thank goodness I have another ultrasound scheduled for next friday (which was unexpected) just so afraid that she's gonna tell me my little girl is really a boy! as long as it's healthy I know it shouldn't matter but kinda had my heart set on a girl now. anyone else had something similar happen?

I wasn't as far along as you are, but I was told girl at a 16 week ultrasound and then boy at a 20 week ultrasound. Blood test confirmed boy, however no one was able to get a clear look until an ultrasound I had at 32 weeks because he always had his legs closed.

I'm so nervous I hope she stays a girl lol! I'm glad for my next one I'm going where I normally go instead of the hospital again. they're a lot more informative. @rebcamdot

That happened to me with my first son. I didn't find out he was actually a boy until a few weeks before I was gonna deliver and I was heartbroken.. I wasn't sad that he was a boy but it felt like I had lost my daughter because I was so used to her being a girl and talking to her and buying her stuff for months!! I hope yours stays a girl cause that was really hard. Nobody in the situation would understand, they don't get that you spend all day long with your belly and planning and picturing stuff in your head and talking to your baby.

that's what I'm afraid of 😢😢 @ninjamami just because I'm so used to her being mommys little girl for weeks now and that would change my whole scenario I have. praying they tell me she's still a girl but trying to stay open minded just in case...so nervous agh

my ultra sound tech gave me 75 percentile that its a girl. legs were crossed so she couldnt really tell. hoping it really is a girl!!
