there are hundreds of thousands of women on medicaid in each state

many of those women are now getting knowledge on natural births, water birthes, homebirths

BUT medicaid and a lot insurance companies are saying no to some of these options

lets break down some facts here

a FULL home birth costs on average $4500

that's all costs including follow up care

A hospital BED costs $10,000, just the bed! when in the hospital

i think that if a woman has interest in a home birth why wouldnt insurance jump on that?!

that saves so many taxpayers and people money per birth in an astronomical amount and less money the state would have to pay out

i feel like if more taxpayers were aware and more women advocated for themselves there would be a change

the goal is a healthy born baby

why should it matter how i choose to do it

and the moment you choose to make your own decisions against modern medicine then you are looked at as a bad mother

i really cant stand modern medicine practices sometimes which is why I'm choosing to stay home and labor and give birth naturally
