My son is 5 months and started sitting up. Of course I have to put him in a sitting position but he sits very well. All babies are different though! My doctor said that was early for most babies!

2 and a half months. but it's because she had real good head control since a month and a half and then I use to sit her in between her boppy and the. at 2 months and a half I took it away and she had it down . but all babies are different. my friends is about the same age and learned at 5 months.

if I placed her in a sitting position she would stay up unsupported at 5 months. she's almost 8 months and she just started being able to push herself into a sitting position.
