yes I know, I've had a c section before @sparnell ... but yes it was the biggest gauge they had. my first pregnancy I got the second in my hand which to me was alot worse. this one was squirting everywhere and she had to move it around cuz I had veins that crossed eachother. 😔

That's a horrible spot for an iv!!! Anyway when I had my first son, before I went in for my c section they put in a 2nd iv. It's protocol for surgeries.
