so irritated right now. my insurance was cancelled today because my stupid case worker messed up the paperwork and now it says my income excedes the limit.... my income doesn't even come close to the limit! I cent pick up my nausea medication because my insurance is all jacked up and I cant eat without the medication because I throw it all back up. I never received a notification that my insurance was being cancelled either. not to mention I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and no insurance as of today.....

insurance is such a joke! I swear its more trouble than its worth! I used to work for a health care insurance company (Humana) and I got in trouble for telling a customer the TRUTH about their account. We're always supposed to say "the system is down" or "let me escalate this issue for you" or "the issue is under review if its not corrected in a few days please call back". My insurance went up 80 dollars this year and I can't afford that shit! I'm applying for medicaid but the process is taking forever in this state. -_-

yeah I have Medicaid. I don't even make $1000 a month and they are saying I make too much???? they said in one of the systems it says I am still enrolled through July 31st but I'm the system doctors and pharmacy see it says my insurance is cancelled and I called my caseworker and got no answer so I called his supervisor and no answer. I just want to give up. it should be illegal to take a pregnant woman's insurance. @gab044

that happened to me 2 years ago....my daughter had a doctor appointment and we found out she had no insurance....then later that day I needed to pick up a medication for myself and I found out I had no insurance. we received no word that the insurance was no longer covering us....it was crazy because my husband was the only one covered under MY case...turns out someone unauthorized went into my case and changed a bunch of things

@laytons_mommy, keep trying. raise hell. I did. I was furious when I found out someone took away my insurance and my daughter's insurance (she's 2 now but she was under a year when that happened) and kept my husband on (he was added later to my case). I do know when it was discovered and finally addressed, the person got into a ton of trouble for doing what they did.

@answeredprayer16, i have Medicaid. @harleybaby2952 I have called 4 times today and I get sent right to voicemail. it's so frustrating. I went to the office this morning and they said I can't see my worker unless I have an appointment. even know he fucked everything up! excuse the language I'm having a bad day. my washing machine broke today too

it is the state system. you need to go to social services and sit until you see someone. they are changing the way they track records and have screwed up so many people have been dropped in error.
