Can anyone give me insight on why women are so afraid of being induced?

I was induced amd it was nice to have a time frame of when I should have everything ready and when my husband should take off work.

I'm not afraid to be induced but I would rather my son come naturally (just a preference) but I did hear that it makes contractions stronger and more painful.

I agree to the utmost! Being induced is great because you have a general time frame as to when your baby will arrive rather than not knowing anything. It gives you time to be adequately prepared among a lot of other things as well!

I'm scared of labor in general, but I can get why being induced is scary. it increases the chance of needing a csection, the pictocin gave me such strong contractions and had my son in distress.

I guess because they say the medicine they give you makes you contract harder/faster and it makes the whole process longer. I wasn't scared of it, but I didn't necessarily want it. I did go into labor on my own with my first, but they ended up giving me pitocin to speed up everything, it did make my contractions worse and more intense. Nothing too awful, but I did have an epidural so. Idk those are the things I usually hear about why women are scared of being induced. I'd rather go into labor on my own, but it is nice to have a set date I guess.

I'm being induced and it doesn't scare me necessarily, I just wanted him to come when he was ready.

i didnt mind being induced i was induced with my second son and it wasn't that bad

I heard it's more painful and statically leads to more c sections. I'd rather have her come naturally when she's ready.
