So I'm 38 weeks and I've heard that pumping can jump start labor, so I'm trying it cause my doc said its safe for me to try whatever to help make labor happen. I'm a first time mom and I'm just wondering, when I'm pumping like hardly nothing comes out is that normal and do you think it will still help me with starting labor? Just curious! Thanks

I've done a lot of research on pumping before birth, well after 28 weeks. Try to look at ultrasound pictures of the baby and talk to the baby as you try to pump. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Good luck

You aren't prepped for milk until birth, if there's not much, then don't stress about it. I tried pumping with my first, didn't work.
