So yesterday my hubs pointed out we're missing our "spark" 😕 it got me mad but he said he just doesn't want us getting tired of each other in the long run and separating like most people are doing now a days. He says that we've been so focused on the kids and our responsibilities that we don't stop for a second and enjoy each other. I honestly don't know what spark he's talking about, he says the way we were in the beginning, cause we got use to each other. We go on random dates sometimes like to the movies or to eat but I don't know what to do to get that "spark" back 😣 I'm sure I overreacted by getting upset but I don't know what to do. Help? Any ideas?

I definitely know what you're talking about. at the beginning of any relationship (usually the first four months or so) there is a period called the infatuation period. the 'puppy love' period, so to speak..it never lasts forever..the relationship either grows into something more or it doesn't. you don't need to try to make it like new again because it won't be but just try to remember you have a family now and you have something even deeper than before...I think some ways to keep the romance is to write each other cute notes at random, pick nights to try something new and spontaneous together, and just take time for each other, even if it is just when the kids are asleep and you're home together. good luck girl!

@kimberkatherine, there you go! The puppy love stage! That's what I think, it's just the beginning and it won't happen again :/ I guess I'll have to do little random gay stuff to see if that's what he likes lol like little notes just to brighten up his day or something. Slide it in his work pants and surprise him lol

@ketymrtnz, yah, I'm not super into all the mushy crap but my man and I kinda realized since I got pregnant every subject is about finances, work and the baby so we are trying to keep things about us as well..it isn't easy especially with kids but I try to do random things I know he will appreciate that are small too just so he feels special and he does the same for me.

@kimberkatherine, yeah, it's hard bro 😕 I told him, I was like "baby in the beginning we were like that cause we were getting to know each other and reel one another in, now that I got you, we can't be the same like that" he wasn't having it 😂😂

@ketymrtnz, definitely. I think it is hard on us because we both work so much and we just moved out here so everything is still pretty new. but there will always be those times where one person or the other feels like they aren't 'close' enough or don't have a spark..those are just the challenges we face in a relationship 😡

@ketymrtnz, agreed. we should be grateful. it is hard when you have a personality that isn't as clingy or emotional :p it also makes it harder to meet other females you get along with. I'm usually like.."dude, chill" when it comes to other female friends, haha!
