After 40 weeks and 6 days contractions started Thursday morning at 4am, went to the hospital only to get sent home because I was only 1.5cm dilated. Contractions until I went back to the hospital Friday night, got admitted due to high blood pressure. Contractions with medicine to help soften my cervix so I could dilate easier until Saturday night when the doctor came in and told me he was giving me an epidural to lower my blood pressure. After the epidural I was still only 1.5cm so they put the balloons in me to dilate me, they feel out and I was finally at 4cm early this morning. Then I gradually made it 5cm, 8cm, and then 9.5. Had to start pushing around 12pm and after 2 hours and 57 minutes my little man was finally here. An extremely long, emotional, and painful journey but I'd do it all over again for this little boy. My boyfriend and I couldn't be happier and in love with our little Enrique!
