You would have to get an infant seat of you want to be able to take it out of the car to carry the baby in it. I personally just use a convertible from the start and either move the baby to a stroller, or baby wear.

I don't think any convertible car seats come with a base that lets you take it in and out of the car. Is that what you are looking for?

I'm finding some but its not telling me if they come out the car. I don't want to have to buy an infant one then a convertible one (one that grows with them).

Do they even make those???
