What do yall think about the saying "strict parents make sneaky kids." I think its true, to an extent. I mean, from my own experience my parents never let me do anything so I had to lie to them to go to places & do things.

@brittnee, I mean I'm not saying let your kids do whatever with no rules. but trying to keep them from the outside world and everything too much, doesn't work well either. especially in today's generation 😭

I think you should pick your battles, because there is such thing as too strict. But kids need boundaries. Too many parents just want to be their kid's friend, when they should be a parent first.

There's a difference between being strict and not letting your child(ren) have freedom.
