tried talking to my mom about a baby shower....and she threw a bitch fit, asking who would even come (my family is spread out across the country) :/ gee thanks. so I took to FB asking who would come and six people replied. so I guess I'm having more of a small get together instead

everyone I know lives at least an hour and a half away, so I felt like who would come...but some of my friends actually surprised me and said they would. even if they dont, it's not about my friends really. it's about eating as much food as possible and celebrating my baby

I had a few friends ask if I was going to have one a few months ago. there will be no family aside from my mom there though...my husband's family doesn't give a rat's ass about me.

I also want to do it before 30 weeks due to my circumstances with my daughter and the fact that my doctor thinks the baby will come early. the original plan was not to hold one at all....
