kinda wanna have a quick I DO Marriage now so me, my fiance and our baby can all have the same last name and then we can have the ceremony next year. but idk... what do u ladies think?

That's what my hubby and I did.. no one was at our wedding.. we got our marriage license and went to the mosque and then it was a done deal (:

@ftmommieoftwiinz, yeah I just Wanna have the signing of the papers and stuff and get it done. but then again I want to wait for the real ceremony... idk lol

@chas661, when the baby is in the hospital it will go by the mothers last name. My last name is scott so my babies would be baby Scott on their medical bracelets they would have their fathers last name on their birth certificate but yeah. @misskass20 my fiancé and I are getting married on feb 20 for that reason as well it is important to me to have the same last name as my fiancé and my babies. :)

@twinscomingsoon, thank you for the information :) yeah I heard that apparently there is like extra paperwork to get the dads name on the birth certificate if u r not married. but I'm not sure just something I read lol

@misskass20, I'm not sure. I've talked to my mom about it a little bit she wasn't married to my biological father when I was born but I didn't take his last name. I just always wanted to be married before I had kids. Sometimes it doesn't work that way lol so we're doing a small backyard wedding to make it official before they arrive. It's just important to me and what I've always wanted. I don't think I would be happy with having a different last name than my children. :( and there's no way they aren't getting their fathers name lol.

My husband and I eloped before we were even pregnant with our first! We figured we could always do a renewing of vows later on.. It was quick and painless. Anyways were goo on 6 years now and we're expecting our 3rd baby :) best decision!!

My husband and I got married in my uncles backyard at the last minute because he's in the army and he was getting restationed in a new state!! Nothing wrong with it. ☺️
