I'd let him. if I can't discipline your kids and have to watch them or live with them I'd leave lol. but maybe that's just cause I deal with my bad ass cousins haha . can't do it
my husband does but I would let him do it excessively if it's really needed yes because he pays the bills, puts food on the table, cold clean, spend quality time everything a biological father does and we are married I trust him so I allow him to, my sons dad knows my husband disciplines them and he's OK with that
my fiancé doesn't do physical punishment. he can't handle it emotionally but he has no problem yelling or pinching which seems to be the only thing that get my daughter to stop touching and playing with everything
