depends on where you go. the elective place I went to let us record and would've let us skype. the "medical" place we couldn't even have our phones out

Sounds fine to me! I was face timing my mom when my sister was giving birth cause I couldn't miss work lol she stood the phone near her and I saw the whole thing 😂

and I think she was okay to do that because a lot of women do record their births, I think it might be a little different around machines and stuff. @ketymrtnz

Totally understand. call ahead of time and check. if not, see if you can splurge for an elective place that'll let you

Not sure 😕 I know I record my ultrasounds and take pictures but I'm guessing it depends by the tech

it's up to them, if it's an actual Dr office I know if California you aren't permitted any recording devices (even though it's your own body and ultrasound) because of privacy/HIPPA regulations... but the elective place I went allowed for all that!

you're permitted recording and face time during birth regardless, it's the ultrasounds they are more restrictive on.
