U may know at your appointment tomorrow. If you are diagnosed with gestational diabetes it doesn't necessarily mean automatic c section. It just means you got to watch your blood sugar levels more carefully. I think if u can't control it with just diet and exercise or with medicine then there may be a possibility for a c section

I took my 3 hr glucose over two weeks ago and still haven't got my results. for the one hour they called me the next day to tell me I failed it . hoping no news is good news. appt is tomorrow! so will see.

I had GD with my first pregnancy and had him vaginal. c section isn't mandatory BC of GD unless they think baby will be big.

the baby is breeched and low on fluid. the Dr said if the test comes back and I have gd he's gonna do a c section because that'll be too much on both me and the baby. she doesn't have room to flip and the gd may be keeping the fluid levels low

@paisleysmom, if its been two weeks chances are you passed. but I'd ask. and it's not the gd that's making me have a c section. he's already planning it because of her being breeched and low fluid just the gd may be the cause or it'll be too much so he said depending on the test results depends when he does the c section if I pass hell schedule it around 40 weeks if I fail he said he's just gonna get it done with

They usually call you if they think it's something wrong but if you took it two weeks ago and they ain't call you I'm pretty sure everything was ok. The doctor should let u know at your apt if something was wrong @paisleysmom
