Ugh. I got so dehydrated I had to go to the ER. I really hate being here.. Twinies are both okay…

I went threw the same thing in December after Christmas, my veins were so flat it took them 2 hours and 4 nurses to get the iv needle in my arm

I'm glad babies are okay. Try Gatorade or Powerade for hydration if you can't keep down water.

I've been throwing up for over 12 hours today and it progressively got more aggressive and I called my OB to see what she had to say and she said wait till the morning to see if it stops and take a Unisom to help. Well after two hours of forcing myself to try and drink I couldn't keep anything down to try and take the pill and I was getting so soar from throwing up and being physically drained I just looked at my mom and said I can't wait till the morning. So they hooked me up here at the hospital with an IV pumping fluids in me super fast and some nausea medication that seems to be working. It's been a long day.. @ashkoss

@polkadotcutie, I haven't been able to keep anything down all day. Food, water, ginger ale. Nothing.

I see I've been hospitalized for it as well. Have you considered medication?

Yeah they gave me the same meds, I felt so much better after I was very glad I went, but I was told to go cus I was puking my water up and having stomach contractions which stopped imediatly after the iv started.get some rest. I hope u are feeling better!

Glad y'all are ok. I've been to the hospital a few times and I'm only 15 weeks on Monday. I only end up in ER when I don't take my meds. I don't really take the zofran in prescribed or reglan. I take my prenatal with Unisom and b6 at night and I'm great for the next day. I also have to eat every 2 hours or snack in something.

my wowomenoneheart, I take Unisom and B6 every night as well. I never stopped taking it because whenever I would try and stop I would get sick. @polkadotcutie ^ every night I take it and I don't wake up with nausea. I have a feeling I just got unlucky or I was genuinely sick with food poisoning or the stomach flu. It's obviously hard to tell with pregnancy. @ashkoss yeah nothing has stayed down all day. This morning I tried eating and I would throw it up and push myself to keep eating and drinking and it was a never ending cycle and after a while my body gave up on wanting to try and I dehydrated myself really badly. They did give me zofran after they hooked me up to an IV and I haven't thrown up in a while so that's a good sign.

I will take diclegis every night and if I don't take it then I get really sick and I haven't wanted to not take it because I don't want to risk the chance of getting sick so

@navy_wife396, same here if I don't take my meds at night I'm a wreck the next day! @rachelirene sadly military doesn't offer that amazing drug diclegis, but Unisom and b6 is the same combination of it

@navy_wife396, right! For some reason I live tricare. I know a lot of people who don't though. I've never had a bad experience.
