I'm having my baby shower a little early at almost 29 weeks. I'm hoping this way I'll have a good amount of time after to save and get anything else I really need. Anyone else do that?

I think it's a great idea. Mine got delayed because of snow so I will be 34 weeks at my shower. It's torture waiting until after the shower to buy things lol

my first baby shower was at 29 weeks and I believe it was worth doing it that early because if I hadn't of had the second one I would've wanted enough time to buy everything he needed and I had him at 38 weeks so I had 2 weeks less time than normal.

Its best doing it early so what you don't get at the baby shower you still have time to buy before the baby comes.

I did! I'm so glad I did too. It gave me time to go through everything, write and send out the thanks you's, and then over the next few weeks I was able to bit by bit get the remaining items I needed.
