If you had GD do they make you do the glucose test again at any of your postpartum check ups? My 6 week check up is coming (technically I'll be over 7 weeks pp) but I really don't want to drink that nasty stuff again or get any blood drawn

eww i haven't heard that but if its true I will not be taking that test again..it was bad enough the first time

if anything they would just prick our finger ..Its been a long thime since my twins were born but i know i never had to re take it after I had them

no it usually goes away. they might check your sugar after baby is born to see if it went to normal. for me, I'm a diabetic and was on high doses of insulin so they just checked after meals to see if I was regular again. which I was.
