I have an ultrasound scheduled for the 8th to check on development since the Dr says I'm measuring small. I tried to tell her I've been feeling decreased movements lately but she kind of wrote it off as she jogged out of the room to catch another patient. I can feeling occasional hiccups and flutters, maybe some stretching and few nudges, but nothing big or very frequent and it worries me. should I tough it out until the ultrasound or go in? his heart rate is still string as I can catch it with a stethoscope very easily. it's already been two weeks of these slighter movements. im 30 weeks and 3 days.

@babyreeves, If you don't trust the Dr I would go to triage at the hospital. They'll hook you up to a baby monitor and let you know if anything seems wrong.

She didn't seem very concerned about it, or I feel she would have scheduled an ultrasound for that day. I guess I'm super anxious anyways because I have had so many complications this pregnancy, and my last pregnancy ended at 10 weeks with a miscarriage. I just don't want anything to be wrong. I think I'm gonna try to lay down and do the 10 movement test thing. I don't want to be that momma who goes in for everything, but I also don't want to miss something important.

If it would make you feel more comfortable then go get it checked out and put your mind at ease .... I actually went last Sunday to the hospital because I felt like 2 big movements with my son over the course of three days and it freaked me out because I was worried about his cord being tangled and him not receiving the oxygen he needed ! But they hooked me up to a monitor and he was just as fine and happy as could be and come to find out it was how he was laying and the positioning of my placenta and also I have a front anterior placenta and I think he's a bit stubborn since he hasn't stopped moving since we left last Sunday and had me all worried for nothing lol but it wouldn't hurt to get seen and you will worry yourself about it until you do and that's not good for you are baby.

Go in!! Don't stress yourself out. They will check baby and send you on your way once everything is fine. It's their job to do so anyway (:

I also never feel him when standing up or working. only when laying down and being very still. I just wish shed have listened to my concern and scheduled the ultrasound a little closer because it's already been a week and a half since my last appointment. if he was getting larger and was on track, a decrease in violent movements aren't un heard of. but she has me worried he's small. and at 30 weeks I can still pass as barely not not pregnant sometimes.

Any nurse will tell you that they would rather have you come in a million times and have it be nothing than for you to not go in the one time something is truly wrong. If you feel off about something go in and have it checked out. Prayers your way

I should note that going in to the Dr or hospital also ends up being an ordeal, because I don't have a car, my mom has sports games for my niece and nephew all day today, and I'm babysitting my manager's son until I go into work and have to work at 5 today, lol. So it I make the decision to go in, I want it to be fully founded.

Ahhh I'm so torn! I'm gonna go drink some water and lay down and see if I can get my 10 movements.

my son has been doing that lately too I'm 31 weeks and his movements decreased for a while I put cold stuff in my belly and push him around until he moves or I take a small sip of my husband's energy drinks if he has any open.
