When people complain about their baby wanting to go "full term" smh. Whats wrong w ya'll???
Yeah lol those are the ones that have no idea the complications that can come with an early birth! 37 weeks or not! 40 weeks is the healthiest time to have a baby unless medical conditions are putting your baby at risk in your womb!
I'm only 30 weeks, not a ftm but my first time reaching this stage in pregnancy after miscarrying 3x. I'm going to embrace this journey, not rushing it a bit. Although I've been experiencing discomfort. I just wanted to add while reading your post that I completely agree to let it happen naturally, but also wanted to say let's not judge moms who want to induce using natural remedies(walking, sex, dr recommendations) when full term. I think advising these mommies on their post might be the best way to help them. Some may not know! Everyone's perspective is important lets just try not to be judgmental 🙂
That's completely different.. Im talking about seemingly healthy women just being brats! Lol @rachael_lyann
Well my next appointment is Monday! They were kind worried about preeclampsia so I'll be checked then! If I have it and my blood pressure is too high I'll be induced but I'd prefer a natural birth so fingers crossed me and little man are healthy!!
@rachael_lyann, dont be so discouraged! Thats what i mean, it can happen from one minute to the next-when i had my daughter I literally was checked the day before, no signs of labor at all then boom she came outta no where! Sometimes people think theres gotta be all these changes that are going to give u a heads up theyre on their way...thats not always the case!
I was so disappointed when they told me I wasn't even dilated😒 which just means I'll have irregular contractions that might trick me into thinking I'm going into labor for 3-4 weeks! I'm just ready for it to be the 20th so all this pain will end and I can hold my baby
Girl, its gotten to the point where a 23 week preggo will ask if she can eat pineapple cause shes scared it will cause her to go into labor. 😂 it's hilarious! @stephhhx3
@babywhale, I never even heard of the pineapple thing till this app😂 I can understand that you want the baby out but hey this is what we signed up for! Welcome to pregnancy!!! Lol
@rachael_lyann, you said it. 37-42 weeks and yet still, people are complaining. If babys in its still not ready!
Seriously! I was in an almost car accident but from pressing on the break super hard at 30 weeks I was having to keep my baby in as long as possible since they had to stop labor 4 times. I ended up having my daughter at 38 weeks and a day.
@stephhhx3, the thing is, someone can TRY to self induce all they want. But common sense (which not everyone has) says baby is going to come when your body is ready! Theyre so ridiculous with their walking and teas! IF IT HAPPENED TO WORK IT WAS COINCIDENCE and your body was going to go that day, not cause u ate pineapple! Lol. Wish they would just stop or realize how silly they sound.
It's not that we necessarily want an unhealthy early baby! But anywhere from 37-42 weeks is considered full term (words from my doctor) and once you hit 37 weeks, most women start to feel labor pains wether they are actually in labor or not! Plus not to mention we are just impatient to meet our little angels! I was in the hospital last night because of contractions and I'm not even dilated.... Yes I want a healthy and full grown baby but I understand why they make those posts
Im saying, a baby should be in full term regardless of how the one carrying it feels. I think its stupid and annoying to constantly complain at 37,38 weeks that baby "looks like its gonna go full term" you signed up for it, not the baby! (Not speaking at you @maybabyboy just saying...)
It's like after 37 weeks everyone's trying to self induce. Let the baby come when he/she is ready! Or let the doctors do there jobs!
37 weeks is considered early term ... some people just need to be patient and allow their baby to develop more it's sad
