RANT..Y'all my mother-in-law has to be the most dramatic pushy person on the planet. She asked (well didn't really ask) but TOLD me it was time to shave my 5 month old daughter's head...😐...TF?!...I completely understand that this is traditionally done for some families...BUT not my daughter! (who not to mention is just now starting to sprout hair). I kindly declined her offer and she almost died...😐...Ugh....She literally almost started crying (No really) This is unfortunately everyday thing with her. She will suggest something I should do with my daughter with about my daughter, I'll decline, and she'll make a humongous deal about it. My thoughts are that I'm the mama and she is the grandma and being so she is aloud to suggest her thoughts on what she thinks I should do with my baby girl and I can decline if it is not my cup o' tea. Anyone else have a dramatic mother-in-law? Any Advice?

I'm in the same boat girl. my mother in law comes over un announced try to change my baby or feed her with out asking me and she tells everyone how I'm a bad mom cause I won't let her stay all night with her and she got mad cause I wouldn't let her film my delivery so her whole family could see . she even counts how many times I tell her no she can't hold my baby (2 times she was screaming both of them )

My mom would be like that. I did have to tell her you're grandma not mama you had five kids this one is mine.

my mom is like this. except she throws a fit. i just calmly explain to her that things were different when she had me and my sister, and that it's my baby and i wouldn't do anything that isn't in his best interest. also with the head shaving thing! my dad's father made my mom shave my head a few times until i was about a year! everyone thought i was a boy for sooo long.
