It's different if ur boyfriend has issues with her and the family my husband and ex haven't been together in over 17 years .

I definitely think if you and your boyfriend are on the same page, that's what is important. Everyone has different experiences with their ex and I think it all just depends on your experience. As far as them commenting on her baby's photos, I would express to them that it's upsetting to y'all and it seems like they favor her baby over their own grandchild. Honestly, sometimes if being polite doesn't fix it from both you and your boyfriend it takes someone raising a little hell for them to get it. Do what you feel is best :)

My husband is from a very small town, so his parents are friends with just about everyone there. While I don't enjoy his ex too much, I do enjoy her family and we always go have lunch when we're in town. It's never been an issue for us.

Hell yeah I'd have a problem! If I break up with someone then that means my family broke up with him too

my husbands family was like that until I threatened to keep my son away from them. they have no need to be in contact with the ex. its an ex for a reason an if they can't stop for the sake of them baby then its their fault.

I get so pissed off bc we have our first baby together & she has her own baby with someone else & instead of the family commenting on our daughter's pic they're doing it on the exs, we stay away from them as far as possible. it takes everything in me to not raise hell about it
