It is. I had this a while back. be prepared for a big messy diaper though when she does! They start pooing less. my son is breastfed so I was worried too but as long as they're passing gas and don't seem to be uncomfortable or straining it's normal to go up to 21 days O.o

Take a thermometer , a baby one , use the tip with ad ointment or petroleum jelly and with just the tip of thermometer stimulate the anus for a couple of seconds

sometimes breastfed babies use all the nutrients from the breastmilk and have nothing leftover to waste. sometimes my girl will go up to 5 days without pooping.

That happened with my daughter when she was a couple months old she hadn't gone for almost a week I went to the doctors and he said because she is strictly breastfed they digest better and sometimes goes a week without a bowel movement and not to be worried as long as she didn't have a fever or didn't seem like she was trying to go and nothing was happening. sure enough like the next day she finally went and then again went about 4 days after that without going.

they have these gas relief drops that my doctor had given me the okay to use to help because my daughter would get like that too. and they helped relieve her a bit and she would strain a little but she would be okay. I'll take a picture of the drops and show you which ones we used for her.
