QUESTION After getting your cervix checked for the first time, how long did you have brown discharge? & how far did you prgress by the next week? FTM just curious if I could go into labor soon, I got checked yesterday I was 2 cm. I'm really crampy and contractions are starting to hurt instead of just feeling tight. been like this since yesterday.. TIA 💓

with my last pregnancy, I got my cervix checked bled all day that day, had sex that night and then a couple of hours after sex my water started leaking. I was in my 39th week.

I'll be 38 weeks on Wednesday, but I go back to the doctor Tuesday so I'm hoping to be progressed some more and maybe get my membrane swept, I'll be induced the 11th if I don't go sooner, @maybaby2016

I forgot to mention that I think that cramping and contracting is probably normal for your place in pregnancy (you're almost at the end) especially after an exam. the contracting help the cervix dilate, you can take weeks to dilate an inch so just bear with it if you can and of course call your doctor if anything alarming occurs .
