is it me or male doctors downplay pregnancy? went to the ER... told them i was warming up my car and felr lethargic and dizzy aka carbon monoxide exposure. and he tells me its becauese im in my 2nd trimester... doesnt check the baby heart beat nothing, like CO isnt lethal.. its cool got my note for work ..

I totally agree. I don't see male doctors myself, unless in the situation that I go to the ER, for that very reason. Even if they specialize in it I find they don't take it seriously because they themselves will never experience it. But I don't understand that though because EVERY time I go to the ER for any reason they check on baby first thing before anything else. I would have demanded it if they didn't.

went to the er.. at least dothe doppler if i stated twice i was in a running car when i became ill.. hes like oh your pregannt.. then i told the lady i had alight cramping.. shes like its ur anxiety .. que ? my anxiety ? i told her i was concerned about the baby.. she siad its just my anxiety .. and I have a friend saying thats not procedure.. they only check if ur bad cramping or bleeding.. but I had lethal gas exposure you need to check.

Iv heard before 20 weeks they don't do much at the er (in my hospital anyway) I think it's ridiculous i would have asked to speak to a supervisor or demanded a Doppler but I'm a little crazy and suffer bad anxiety constantly 😞 I always think somethings wrong when everything's fine 😞
