my step sister had something like this they called it strawberry patches not sure what it really is though

Maybe the type of bib you're using? The baby is probably very sensitive to it. I know someone who had to change the style of the bib cause her daughter would get little scratches and her neck would turn red.

My newborn has it too. Actually all my kids had that. ( I have 5 ) it goes away.

both my girls have it and I have it it's a birth mark
