I stopped working at 30 weeks and they just kept extending my time off until turning 35 weeks then the considered it maternity leave so I still have the 6 weeks after I give birth . My job was constantly laboring on my feet all day lifting things of different weights so my Drs didn't force me to go back
that's fair @mrscruz0530 . I'm a chef and I do a lot of work by myself so I'm trying to figure out when the best time to take my leave will be. I'm at 30 weeks right now.
I'll be 32 weeks when I go on maternity leave. I'm a teacher and I have enough personal and sick days so I'll continue to get paid until the end of june. thank God. so I'll be home with my baby for 5 months before I go back to work.

I say if you don't feel comfortable working then don't add the stress but some women financially can't take leave until way late
