Any advice on how to tell my mom that I'm pregnant??? I know she'll be upset and I'm afraid to upset…

why do you think she would be upset?

I was the same way. My advice is just get it out and tell her. It's hard but it will take so much stress off of you after you tell her. You got this girl!

I'm not married, and living under her roof, She's extremely traditional. I grew up with her telling me if I got pregnant under her roof id be kicked out. :/ @cupcakesandbows

Sounds like my situation. My mom used to say the same thing. She's not going to kick you out if you have no place to go. For the baby's sake. But when I told her I was pregnant she already knew. Because I was really sick I used to throw up all the time and motherly instincts lol. I would always turn the faucet on so she wouldn't hear me vomiting lol. I was so afraid to tell her but I finally got over my fears (also because my sister came from ATL to help me tell her) and her reaction was totally unexpected. She was like "I knew it, I felt it in my spirit" and I just started crying then she was quiet. She got over it in like two days lol. With that being said your mom can only be mad for but so long. She'll get over it and you two will be just fine! I hope everything goes well for you!

Don't stress yourself just tell her she's your mom she will accept it eventually but just realize she may be pissed mine flipped when I told her and I had already been moved out they are moms it's what they do

Yeah! She cried and then said she was going to help out and now they are completely excited and ready! It will workout for you!

I'm 22 and my boyfriend also lives with us, if she wanted to kick us out the only place we could go would be Arkansas, and I think she would miss her grand any too much @cupcakesandbows

I was in the same situation and soo scared I felt like it was going to be the end of the world but after I told her I felt sooooo much better... She's not a very understanding person but she totally surprised me and was quiet for 3 days and then she was fine now her to be grandson is her world and she can't wait to meet him!!

well i was just like that and me and my boyfriend put one of the test in a lil box and went to her house telling we needed to talk to her wen she open ghe box and saw the result she didnt say anything for min then she said congrats and that she going to be their... Just tell her and hive her time the best thing in the world is having ur mom there thru ur pregnancy helping u and spoiling you @mommahood93

I want my mom there so bad, and I think my biggest fear is her rejecting me, and not having her there... I hope once the news sets in she'll be excited! It will be her first grandbaby! @karinat

i have a feeling she will be there and i know wat u mean i love having my momma bear there shes a angry thing jajaja but i love how she spoiles my cravings and help me with stuff about my lil girl @mommahood93

easiest way is to just say it once it's out there it's there and at that point it's just up to her to except it or not the longer you keep it in the worse you'll feel so just go for it
