Morning ladies 😊 just wondering if I could get a bit of advise.. Went for my booking appointment…

I've been prescribed aspirin too. I've taken it every morning since 12 weeks. It's supposed to reduce the chance of preclampsia by 20 something percent. It's a very low dose. My consultant said it's best to start it sooner rather then later when it's to late. Although it doesn't stop preclampsia altogether. It's my first baby, I'm over on bmi and my mam had it with me so I'm high risk too xx

I had aspirin too, since 16 weeks was taking it to thin my blood.

This is my 3rd baby, it was to avoid blood cloths

I have to take aspirin - it's to thin your blood so more nutrients can pass to your baby and also to prevent blood clots xx @clairey

my bmi is high but nobody has ever mentioned anything to me

No I just see a midwife. This is my first baby too. I don't quite understand everything lol. I just know I get told my scans aren't clear because of my weight but that's it lmao xx

my midwife said the Dr will want to prescribe it then wrote a letter I need to give to them it's for 75mg? xx

My midwife referred me to a consultant who I see at the hospital. Got growth scans booked in aswel. @christina21 theyve never told me scans aren't clear that's shocking. And no side effects at all @clairey xx

You can take paracetmol during pregnancy so don't think Aspirin will hurt :) a low dosage :) Just like other girls have stated it thins the blood :) x x @cmcdon203 You take Aspirin don't you? x x

I know for pre eclampsia they give u low dose aspirin! I have been taking that since 7 weeks I'm completely fine xx

I have since 12 weeks Hun it's fine xx
