how early did you ladies get your membrane swept?

There doing mine at 38 weeks and will be inducing me at 39 weeks

I will be 38 weeks next week when I go back to the doctor, and I'm supposed to be induced at 39 weeks as well, so I was wondering if they would sweep my membrane next week if I'm not dialated any more by then.. @valentinesbaby

hopefully they will seems like every Dr is different, there sweeping mine Feb 3rd and im getting induced Feb 7th I wish they would do it sooner tho lol I don't wanna be in labor forever and I heard getting induced makes it take longer and can be more painful I'm so nervous but really excited lol

@valentinesbaby, lol I've heard the same thing, this is my first but I've been there with all 3 of my sisters, it can make it longer and more painful but I went to the doctor today and I'm 2 cm dialated and I go back on Tuesday the 2nd I'll be 38 weeks on the 3rd, and getting induced on the 11th if I don't go sooner, so I'm hoping I'm further dialated by Tuesday and that they will do a sweep and see if it helps bc if rather go on my own than be induced, :) good luck though! I'm so anxious!!! are you dialated any??

thank-you good luck to you too :) I'm a ftm as well but they haven't even checked to see if I'm dilating yet there just gonna do it at my next appointment when they do the sweep I was hoping they would check me today and they didn't

well hopefully your dialated and the sweep helps :) today was the first time he checked me. I believe most doctors do it at 37 weeks but they're all different. @valentinesbaby
