well I think I found out my LOs problem with his bottles I think the nipples where flowing to fast we use Dr. Brown bottles and I havd him on the size one 0+ nipples and he was gulping while eating and I think that was putting air into his stomach so we went and got some size 0 ones which is for preemies, even though he's not a preemie.

that's what I have for my babe. I had initially got them so that I didn't have to pace feed to prevent a bottle preference & it interfere with breast feeding, but I ended up drying up anyway & I still use them for her because with the 0+ she gulps & half of it runs out of her mouth.

@aeb3, yeah that's what was happening with him too he'd gulp and have it all over him.

the preemie nipples DEFINITELY help. & she doesn't eat too fast & not think she's full anymore either. because of how long it takes her to eat, she can actually tell when she's full.

@aeb3, yeah he just ate his second bottle with the preemie nipple and he's slowed down amd not getting belly aches like he was or spitting up. He's actually enjoying hus bottles now and not fussing which is good, because now I know it wasn't his formula.
