Okay so One... Screw WAITRESSING. If your waitress tells you oh.. it's okay that we closed 20 min ago take your time! She is Lying. To be NICE. So you be NICE TOO AND GO HOME.
I had a man come in around 8 pm (we close at 9) it had been busy and my feet were dead. then around 20 min later I had a group come in. they ate and left around 920 but we're nice about it and left when they finished. thanked me for staying. the man ended up having two people come talk to him. he finished about 840. and sat and talked until after 940. I was the only waitress still working. waiting. standing. then he finally comes up there and they apologized for staying so long and I was nice and told them they were fine, in hopes for getting a good tip for waiting forever. and he writes on the ticket right in front if my exhausted pregnant self 2 dollars. Complimented my smile. really nice. 2 hours almost. 2 flipping dollars. Rude.
Another table got upset that their steak was thinner than it was last time. I can't tonight. if you can't tip appropriately don't go out to eat. if your finished eating. you're the last table. and the restaurant closed 40 min ago.. go home. talk in the car. get out. we are tired. 😩😩😩😩 Tonight was just awful.

It's the same thing with retail really. I was trying to close the doors and lock them but this one woman came in right as they were closing to do a return. The other cashier doesn't know how to do them yet and had to have me do it. I had gotten a crown put on yesterday too so I was tired and sore in my mouth. Luckily all she did was return something. It was just annoying that she did that when she knew we close at 9. But we got out around 10:40 which wasn't too bad. I just feel your pain though girl.

it's so annoying :/ inconsiderate really. I just got home and we closed at 9. I live 15 min away :(@meboom01

@mommy2be15, I live about 20 minutes from my work so i don't get home until later while everyone else lives close. I hated working there during the holidays because they had me there until about 12:30 and I was exhausted and so tired from working so long. I wanted to quit so bad at that point 😡

men don't have respect for waitresses because they have never walked in ones shoes if that man had to go threw that I bet his but wouldn't last a hour
