So my boyfriend and I discussed getting married because he's going to be signing up for the military soon and if we are married it would benefit us all a lot more. We love each other and plan to spend forever together but we are young and don't have a lot of money. We plan on getting married at the court in the next few months and then in maybe a year we could actually have a nice wedding with everyone... Do you think this is weird? I really don't have a problem with it

not weird at all. all that matters is the love between you both for each other......my cousin did the same then when he came back they had a reception.

So am I. My boyfriend is joining the military and the idea of marriage has been a recent topic for us too , it isn't weird at all

I did this. we got married 12days before my hubby left for basic and AIT for the army. however we planned on a large wedding when he came home and its been almost 4yrs and still no big wedding. but we have a 2yr and 6mo twins. he is an amazing man and I couldn't be happier than to be his wife
