I'm so worried. Baby girl used to be so active all the time, kicking away really hard for a long time especially when i lay down or got a bath. But for the past 3 or 4 days she's pretty much stopped- I'm lucky if i feel like 10 kicks a day. I have a doppler and her heartbeat sounds fine but I'm not sure why she would have slowed down on kicking so much. I'm only 26 weeks and i don't think I'm supposed to get worried about kick counting until like 28 weeks but of course I'm worried 🙁 anyone have the same problem? Should i call the doctor?
thanks but listen try not to worry so much it stress you out and what you feel the baby feel if u have any doubt go to the er let them do an US and put your mind at ease@nervousmommy
And the doppler i have is the sonoline b fetal monitor, i got it online in the beginning of my pregnancy and it has really come in handy lol i worry about her a lot but it eases my mind! @mommycheeks
@emily18234, i was thinking growth spurt because i had heard a lot about them, especially at this point in pregnancy, but its just so scary for her to go from being active ALL the time to barely at all @emily18234 and I'm a natural born worrier lol so of course i worry about her a lot, but thank you i may do some research on it too to ease my mind
my oldest was lazy like that she hardly kicked they said 10 kicks a day is perfect for babies but if you dont mind could you tell me what kind of doppler you have @nervousmommy
I understand completely and yes I second it sounds like a growth spurt. my son NEVER stopped movong, so when she started with the dull days I freaked as well. but the more inread, the more comfort i got that everything is going well
Its just weird because for like 2 weeks straight every day its like she would never sleep, she'd just be up kicking all the time. And now she never kicks even when i try to push her around or drink something cold 😕 @emily18234 the kicking was how i knew she was okay all the time, i was so happy that she was a kicker but now i just freak out and listen to her heartbeat 10 times a day so i know she's okay haha
plus, around that time they stop moving so much during the day. the way it was described to me was your movements basically rock the baby to sleep. when you sleep, baby wakes up since there's no rocking.
all bodies are different. she still has plenty of room, your body will adjust, but as time goes on, movements lessen. some days, my nugget won't stop moving. others she'll have 2 or 3 lazy days. she's done this since I started feeling her
@emily18234, i've only heard of that being a problem towards the end of pregnancy. I'm only 26 weeks, she should still have plenty of room in there right?
Yeah its just easier said than done 😩 haha but listening to her heartbeat puts me at ease, especially since it causes her to kick cuz she hates the wand and tries to kick it away. I just worry a lot, i do try to calm down its just hard! @mommycheeks
