Ask him what the fine is for. I'm not sure how child support works.. but he would have to go to court and all that crap so you would most likely know..
If you don't mind me asking, how much are they taking from his checks? That could be a big hint towards what it's going to. And also you could probably just call his work and ask why his wages are being garnished. They would probably tell you. And what is he saying the fine is for?
He wouldn't have had to go to court necessarily. If he has another child the mom can go and file and they take it right out of his paychecks, they don't need him to appear in court and they don't need his permission.

yea it's just for a fine I just sometimes can't trust what he says, he's lied so much to me before so makes things hard if he's actually being truthful :( but thank you guys, I know they'd have to take him to court is someone was taking child support, the fines were for driving on suspended and a petty larceny, shit he did when he was younger, its sad how as we age we have to deal with the stupid mistakes we made as teenagers. @queendavis @chhaya @valerie_jean @lucasmomma
I think they're gonna start taking 25% @queendavis he just found this out today...sucks because we can barely get by as it is and now this...I'm going to have to get a job ASAP!

they do need a paternity test for child support so he would know for sure if he has another kid.

I think they're gonna start taking 25% @queendavis he just found this out today...sucks because we can barely get by as it is and now this...I'm going to have to get a job ASAP!
