I am prescribed promithazine 12.5mg. It works great for me. However, if I take it days in a row, I feel my body builds immunity to it quick and it doesn't help then. So if I skip a few days and then take it, I feel great from it. I only take it as needed. But I also was given diclegis but my insurance wouldn't cover it. So my midwife told me that all it consist of is unisom and vitamin b6. So I take half of a unisom and 25mg of b6. The promithazine does make me sleepy. I was only given 12.5mg because I'm only 120lbs. So the higher dose if your given it could make you dizzy and more sleepy.
OK. I planned on only taking it as needed I'm not a huge medication person anyway. yeah I got a higher dosage cause I'm heavier. @klove2016 Thanks :) I'll give it a try and see how my body reacts to it
It should work well. I haven't thrown up since I was 8 weeks. And that was when I was hospitalized due to dehydration. It's saved me! Lol good luck Hun

I took it. it worked at first but then it didn't after about 2 weeks. they switched me to diclegis, which worked wonders

No serious side effects? it says it causes drowsiness and may cause blurred vision lol

no it did make me a little sleepy at first but once in your system it doesn't effect you like that but no blurred vision at all.
