when did any of you moms with baby 4 or 5 months old start feeding the lo soild food and what was it…

I started baby food at 3 and a half months my son has kept it down and has seemed to be fuller for longer when I feed him baby food

My daughter is 4 months and eat baby food, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, peas, bananas prunes and apples

I started at 4 months with my son. We started with veggies mixed in his cereal. Once he tried all veggies we started his fruits. He's 9 months now and eats as many solids as possible daily. Almost no formula unless it's nap or bedtime

I tried to mixes fruit in with his baby cereal will not eat it he gives me a throw up face but he a good 13 pound baby

I started my son at 3 months and he is doing so well now at nearly 6 months. I started with sweet potatoes once a day, normally at dinner time. At first you should give him a bottle before you feed him, they are getting 95%(I believe that's right) of their nutrition from bottles. But it sure does satisfy their little bellies!

You can also try instead of rice cereal they make one grain oatmeal, it might help with the bottles!

I have whole grain oatmeal I have not tryed it yet I was giving him multigrain cereal he did not like it one bit he drink 8 oz bottle every 2 to 3 hours he on simula sensitivity

my youngest started cereal at 2 months baby food at 3 1\2 months and solids around 4 1\2 months. she started with like mashed potatoes and like soups and things like that.
