Yes. It took me a year. My due date is exactly one month from when my first would have been a year old.

I miscarried June 29. I had a D&C July 2. On Aug 26 found out I was 4 weeks pregnant. This baby was a surprise for my husband and I.

It literally took me two weeks after my body was done bleeding to conceive again.

You can't really go by how everyone else's body recovers from a miscarriage. It's different for everyone. My best friend got pregnant 2 times in one year, miscarried both the 1st at 5 weeks the 2nd at 9 weeks. This was 3 years ago and she hasn't been pregnant since then. Seeing my baby was really hard for her but she's the best aunt ever.

I miscarried May 29th and found out October 4th that I'm pregnant again!
