I wish I could educate woman more on what exactly that "glucola" contained, and what it could actually do to an unborn child, and mother. BUT I feel as if it probably wouldn't matter to a lot of mothers. and unfortunately my dr office refused to give me other options and made me take the test or they would drop me as a patient. I just did mine last week. I passed.

i wish i knew before :( i only learned what it was and the side effects a week after taking it because it was making me feel so awful

@mommabear3cubs, that's exactly why I switched hospitals completely. us woman all have the right to refuse something that could potentially be harmful to our babies.

@mommabear3cubs, my fiance and I are the kind of people to research everything before we make decisions on things. and what they don't tell you, is the fact that you have the right to refuse. they also have 2 other kinds of test. rather then just that drink. there's the 28 jelly beans, and the finger prick.

I prick my fingers multiple times a day already but for the opposite reason. I have hypoglycemia and have to check my sugar often because I get so low some times. even worse now being pregnant. but they told me those tests were not diagnostic enough and insurance won't cover it. @sabreycastro1996
