Random question. I know breastfeeding supplies are tax deductable, but are they tax deductable if one buys them for a dependant? My fiance will be claiming me next year and if the insurance doesn't work out for a beast pump for whatever reason, we're just going to pay out of pocket and claim it on the taxes. But since my SO will be head of household and I'll just be a dependant with no income, will he be able to write them off since he's a male? I'm sure I could look it up and read 3 years of tax code, but I'm wondering if anyone had personal expirience.
