6 week appointment tomorrow!! Deciding between nexplanon and the patch for my birth control, any suggestions from you ladies? Pros and cons? Or another type of birth control that worked for you?

I have an odd body sometimes so I just stick with the regular pill and took it every morning. I was on Sprintec the worked really good for me but tri Sprintec made me have really bad periods. the Dr said it was too many hormones.. Sprintec is just one. I really liked it @mommyandbriston

Nexplanon isnt really working for me. My symptoms are hair loss, bleeding for long periods of time, loss of sex drive, painful sex and mood swings

Be careful with the patch if U have sensitive skin

I have Nexplanon. Haven't had a period for 4 months. My ob Dr said it could mess with your period for 2-3 months or it can keep you from having one for the whole 3 years your on it. He said that it's normal and that there's nothing to worry about when you're on it.

I have used the pills before...couldn't keep up with them. and I used depo. in high school depo caused no problems.. after two kids I tried it again. it was horrible. massive weight gain... I would have a period for a whole month and then not for a whole month..massive hot flashes and if u decided u wanna get pregnAnt again after depo it can take months to years to get pregnAnt. my hubby's getting fixed this Time. so I can get my hormones back to normal. and we don't want anymore kids.

I had never been on bc in my life before I got pregnant... I have the depo now I got it almost a month ago... no problem so far... but im sure not having any more kids
