DR says buggers heart is beating beautifully but they need me to get a fetal echo.. so they can see…

I went for mine today. Try not to worry they are just super careful. I had to go through 2 weeks of not knowing whether my baby had a 3rd chromosome 18 or not. my tests were normal but on the low side so they had me panicking.

we have heart problems in our family so we have to get them and they already did one and when she told me she wanted me to come back in a few weeks I got nervous she says everything looked fine but wanted to double check I still want feel better till it's over tho

i felt like she was saying it was beating beautifully so i wouldnt freak out whe. sbe followed up with "but we're gonna nees you to get a sono specifically to check fetal heart to make sure everything is functioning properly." gotta wait until the 5th 😕 wish i could of gotten the sono today! @summer729

I know that feeling. it sucks, they like to be super careful which is a good thing but it stinks for us. for me they were taking pics of the babies heart today. it's awesome to watch it beating

I just realized we are close in due dates as well. mine is may 17

the only plus side to getting thesd sono are the techs feel its necessary to give mommy an extra picture of baby so we can feel better.. so I have to go back for 2 more sonos in feb my comfort was that i get more pictures of him.. do you know what you are having? im due May 19th @summer729

yea they didn't do one with my first either but I also lived in Georgia then so different doctors

I'm having a little boy. I got 4 pictures today, he's so big it's only a head now he looks squished
