I started with my daughter when she was about 2 1/2 months and now she sleeps from 10pm-10am and wakes up one time during the night but she's starting to put herself to back to sleep. she's going to be 4 months in like 2 weeks
Oh wow! That's amazing. @lena512 Mine is 4.5months and its getting ridiculous. I can't do anything without her freaking out when she's not in my arms. Did you do the cry it out method ?
I didn't really have to because I started her out when she was really little. I just kept her more through the day. Even though she was sleepy I'd just play with her then put her down for a nap for like 2-3 hours and then keep her up for the rest of the day and she sleeps for the most part through the night. I don't go pick her up unless she cries for more than a minute but I just talk to her to calm her down and if that doesn't work I pick her up. Every baby is different though. what may work for mine might not work for yours.
I did the same around 2 months she sleeps from 7pm to 7:30 - 8 am with usually no wake ups. she sometimes fusses for 5 min off an on with whimpers but then she puts herself to bed again.
it takes time an patience. but it all depends on baby to when u think they are ready for it. U could try the ferber method where u ease them into self soothing.

@melissafrattinger, umm am so envious. It's been rough. And here I was thinking 4months was too soon.
