Baby number 2 is on her way and I'm still in a 1 Bedroom flat so I'm only eligible for a 2 bedroom property, but I've come across a 3 bedroom house that says under occupancy considered, and I want to understand that definitely means that I will be eligible for that property if I'm only up for a 2 bedroom?

I'm living in a two bedroomed first floor flat with my partner and 2 year old daughter and I'm due my second daughter in 6weeks its cramped now and im dreading when the baby comes because I just can't understand where any of us are going to fit lmao but going to view a council property tomorrow so fingers crossed and my current landlord is doing all he can to try find us somewhere else that's bigger but no luck yet, hope you get this property I feel your pain with the council waiting list :)
They can only charge bedroom tax if you have a 3 bed and 1 child I'm sure ...... I have a 4 bed house and alto ugh I pay full rent so it doesn't matter when I first moved in here I would have only paid for the 1 extra bedroom as I had 2 children @lnpmog937

Yeah thats the only thing isn't it, no idea what the cost is for bedroom tax or how any of it works to be honest but if I'm going to have two children I'd much rather that then be stuck in a two bedroom hovel xx

It sounds like you will be in with a chance but be careful if you receive housing benefit. They will pay less for you not actually requiring the third bedroom
I don't know for sure. But my understanding of these politics is that you can under occupy but you will be subject to bedroom tax.

have you looked into a mutual swap with someone? that's my only bed of finding a 3 bedroom if this property I'm bidding on now doesn't work out ☺x
