it just came off the rest away but there's no discharge with it but it does smell bad

@haley221, did you clean it with alcohol at all? it could be infected if you didn't keep up with cleaning it regularly with an alcohol swab.

It looks absolutely normal and fine! It's gonna be all black at one point and then fall off! My daughters was exactly the same!! Don't worry mama just keep the area dry! Don't do anything to it. No ointment or anything whatsoever! the sooner it dries, the sooner it falls off! If it has pus or is red...then take your baby to the doctor! Good luck honey! 😀
