Right-to-work states suck! My husband lived in Clarksville Tennessee and got fired for being 4 minutes late. It was only the second time he was late within like, 2 years of working there. I wish you could fight it by claiming discrimination but I don't think that works out there. =\. I'm sorry that happened though.
@emberlynnsmommy, that sucks but you'll be fine! You're still covered under cobra for insurance and if not you'll get state funded and they pay for everything, unemployment, and if you want you can get wic and food stamps especially while pregnant. It's nothing to be ashamed of especially since you've been a tax payer. In my opinion you've earned it. They are going to approve me while I'm on unpaid leave for it I've already checked!
