Our little one 30 weeks + 3. My scan at 28 weeks said baby was measuring above 90th centile just, had my scan today and they said it's in between the 50th & 90th so got to go back. Everything else fine eg. My movements, fluid around baby and blood flow through cord so dr thinks first measurement could be an error as baby is fine and measuring a normal healthy weight. Bit worried though as he said if next time the measurement has dipped he will think about further action eg giving me steroids and/or inducing me. Any other ladies have anything like this?? X

I was induced because my babies growth dropped but only because she was under the 10th centile. I wouldn't imagine they would induce you for a baby in the 50th centile. They will probably just keep a close eye on the growth with fortnightly scans x

Thank u @tuftyturtle dr didn't seem too concerned as everything else is fine for me and baby. Have you seen size of the picture too baby's looks massive!😂 we will be fine glad they been thorough I guess. He did check with colleague to double check and said to me they gotta do another scan to cover their backs and just make sure baby growing properly. Did they give u steroids for your baby and did baby come early?? Xx

I've been put on weekly scans and having growth scans every two weeks due to my baby girl dropping in size I've also been told if baby comes at 37 week ill be given steroids for her lungs Xx @emorleyx

Thanks @babyboots seen you been having scans, at 28 weeks was measuring above 90th and now it's in between at a healthy normal weight which is good but he just said wants to see what next one is as should be sloping up but don't know if it was error on sonographer part at 28 weeks. Everything's fine so glad but just can't help stressing about everything! Don't think I will stop till I'm holding my baby lol xxx

im the same it is worring for us mummys 😞 but im sure both our babys are doing just fine and when they born they van prove the sonographer wrong 😂😃 how far are you now hun? xxx

I was induced at 37 weeks. wasn't given any steroids. They scanned me fortnightly between 20 and 30 weeks and weekly after 30 weeks. my daughter was born at 37 weeks weighing 5lb 11oz and she is perfectly healthy. She was 8th centile. so 50th your baby will be perfectly fine 😊

They just like to scan regularly to make sure they don't stop growing. They keep a close eye on them and deliver them if they think you reach a point where your baby is better out than in xxx

Ah thanks ladies that's reassured me, the only reason why he said would induce me is if baby dips again in weight and they worried but he reckons everything will be fine ☺️ xx
