I'm being tested at 28 weeks I'm not overweight but I have pcos which puts me at higher risk of getting early or pregnancy diabetes. it just depends on your circumstances so I wouldn't worry xx

Nope :) My BMI is over 30 :) I was never offered it :) That is because my bloods have been taken every appointment and my midwife checks my blood sugar that way :) also I give a urine sample every appointment too :) xx

I think you have to as everywhere in the UK they should offer it around 28 weeks and I would demand it as it won't always show in your urine! xx

Nope I've not been tested, they only test you if your over weight or there's sugar present x

my midwife hasn't told me about sugar in my urine but when I saw her last Friday she said when I see her at 28 weeks I will be having the test x

I did too but then my midwife told me it's because my urine was clear everytime @deon88 xx

You won't be unless there is sugars present in your urine on several occasions @deon88 xx
