I have a question...I know this is somewhat not mommy related. if i have a court date tomorrow and they still havent plowed the snow in my complex and im not gonna walk my pregnant ass down the hill to the bus stop with a 3 year old..What will they do if i dont show up but the person im going to court for does? what if we both dont make it to the court date? i am new to this court stuff...its lg county district court in upper marlboro by the way. Thanks in advance!

they default and give the person suing you (or whatever the situation is) what they want. could also issue a bench warrant

well if you weren't summoned and you are being there as support, then nothing. but if you are actually supposed to be there call and explain your situation the second they open in the morning

warrant , and if other party only shows up then it will go in their favor . you need to go i wouldn't try to call push comes to shove they could be busy and not pick up and even if they do honestly if you ain't damn near dead they won't care .

oh wow!! i filed a peace order on someone and my court date to show evidence and stuff is tomorrow. they said the snow plow would be here today at 12 pm this afternoon. it is now 845 at night. @littlemissrainesmommy @emily18234 @shalene

I've had to do that with my ex. I filed one on him. Either it will be dropped or they will issue a bench warrant for you. The morning of my hearing like 2 yeas ago, I had a crimping pain hit me in the shower. I called them, explained the situation and begged them to do whatever to reschedule and they refused, just said they will try to get the message to the judge. fearing a warrant, I got to the court house and before they even Called my case I was being rushed to the er with a giant rupturing cyst. they did reschedule it, but it was because he demanded to show i wasnt faking it. it all depends on the other person tbh.

@mommychina_, fuck....thats not what i want. smh shit crazy its been 4 days and they havent plowed my complex. she dont deserve to win this case. she threatened me and my unborn child.
